The NBC News Anchor is the consummate professional. We tune into him. We listen to him. We trust him. He delivers the news in a straight-forward, honest manner. Yet, his ability to let down his guard a little and be seen as a human being may be one of his more enduring qualities. He didn’t have to risk appearing on Saturday Night Live, but when he did, he threw himself into it with the same commitment that he brings to the news every night. He made us laugh. And the next night he was back on air and we listened intently as he read us the news of the day. We have never seen him when he’s not being gracious and thankful for the opportunities that he’s been given. Good news, bad news or even a joke or two, we like getting it from Brian Williams on The Red Carpet.
